"Is it AI?" (the "Service", isitai.me) is operated by an individual. This page explains what data the Service handles and why. There are no accounts, and every check runs inside your browser.
Every tool — AI image detection, text, link, review and message checks — runs inside your browser (on your device) and shows results immediately. The check itself never requires uploading your file or text. Detection model files are downloaded from the Service's CDN (models.isitai.me) to your device and cached there.

The Service neither asks for nor stores directly identifying information such as your name, contact details or an account. Analysis data follows three rules: de-identified storage (random identifiers only), purpose limitation (detection accuracy, model research and retraining) and no sale or transfer to third parties.
Analysis data and feedback are kept only as long as the purposes above require, and are deleted without undue delay on request after verification. You are responsible for analysing files that depict other people or contain third-party rights; on request from a rights holder the related data is deleted. Inputs used for AI opinions and call transcription are discarded as soon as the response is returned. Enquiry emails are deleted within a year of being resolved.

These providers may operate servers outside your country, so data may be transferred internationally.
This service displays ads via Google AdSense to cover operating costs. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
We use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand traffic. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses, and individual users are not identified. You can opt out with your browser's Do Not Track setting or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
For convenience the Service keeps the following only in your browser; none of it is sent to a server. All of it can be cleared from the Settings & Diagnostics panel or your browser settings.
You may ask at any time for analysis data related to you to be deleted. Because storage is de-identified we cannot look up a specific person automatically, so please include the share link (id) from the result screen, or the time of the check and the file details; we delete after verification. The Service is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal data.
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. The edge API is protected by origin allow-lists, rate limits and input validation. Stored data is keyed by random identifiers only.
