Free with no sign-up, and the check runs inside your browser, so what you enter never leaves your device. The result is a signal to help you decide, not proof for money or legal decisions.
Instead of typing an address you open it from an icon. The difference is not only cosmetic: the detection models and interface files stay cached on the device, so it opens much faster from the second time on and image checks keep working with no network at all.
Installation goes through the browser rather than an app store — Add to Home Screen in Chrome on Android, the same option in the Safari share menu on iPhone, the install icon at the end of the address bar in desktop Chrome. No new permissions are requested, and removing the icon removes it.
It lets you right-click an image anywhere on the web and send it straight to a check, skipping the save-then-upload round trip. That single job is all it does.
Its permissions are deliberately minimal: it can create a right-click menu entry and nothing else. It cannot read the pages you visit, and what it passes along is one image URL. The check itself still happens on this site as usual.
You can generate an iframe snippet that renders a result card inside a blog post or forum thread — useful when you want to show, in the middle of your writing, that a particular image scored what it scored.
The widget renders the score card only and never downloads the detection models, so it will not weigh down the page hosting it. Clicking the card opens the full result on this site, where the reasoning is laid out.
They sit in different places. If you check things on your phone often, installing to the home screen makes the biggest difference — opening speed and offline behaviour both change. If you run into images while browsing on a computer, the extension fits. If you want to show a result inside something you wrote, that is the widget.
None of the three needs an account, and none depends on the others. Installing does not make the extension necessary, and using the widget never asks your readers to install anything. Take only what you need.
Once installed you can share photos straight from your gallery, and it works offline.
Tap the Share button in Safari, then “Add to Home Screen”.
